Finance Manager | Luxury Fashion | London (hybrid)

Agora is delighted to be working with a luxury fashion brand in their search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team.

Growing and approaching the £5m revenue mark, their designs are stocked in over 100 stores across 20 countries globally, and they are really starting to make strides in their niche.

Culturally, they believe in inclusion and autonomy, and they are always keen to hear new ideas on how they can continuously improve their business, while also offering working flexibility, with most of the team utilising two days working remotely.

Reporting to the Founder, themselves a big name in fashion, and supporting a part-time CFO, you have full ownership of the month end process and will be tasked with the production and delivery of management accounts, commercial forecasts and budgets, while overseeing one person in transactional finance.

Responsibilities:

• Producing and presenting management accounts to board level
• Reporting on financial data and providing commercial insights
• Analysing the P&L and balance sheet
• Leading with budgeting and forecasting
• Forecasting cash flow
• Overseeing transactional finance, including payroll, prepayments, accruals, journals, reconciliations, credit control and invoicing
• Striving to improve processes and controls
• Identifying cost saving and profit maximising opportunities
• Supporting the Fractional CFO with strategic and commercial decisions
• Liaising with external accountants for year end

Qualifications:

• Experience at Management Accountant level and above in an SME
• Background in retail/product based businesses
• Highly confident with producing management accounts and financial reports
• Capable of being hands on with all aspects of finance, including supporting a Finance Assistant
• Analytical, with a keen eye for detail
• High degree of commercial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location: Central London (3 days in office)

Please note that are also open to applicants on a part-time basis – up to £75,000 pro rata.
