Agora is delighted to be working with a luxury fashion brand in their search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. Growing and approaching the £4m revenue mark, they have a fundraise on the horizon early next year, with this role being able to support the fractional CFO and play a key role in this, giving you experience you rarely get at this level.
Day-to-day, you will be reporting to the Founder, themselves a big name in fashion, and will have full ownership of the month end process and will be tasked with the production and delivery of management accounts, commercial forecasts and budgets and ensuring cash flow remains consistent with business needs.

Responsibilities- Producing and presenting management accounts to board level
- Reporting on financial data and providing commercial insights
- Analysing the P&L and balance sheet
- Leading with budgeting and forecasting
- Forecasting cash flow
- Overseeing transactional finance, including payroll, prepayments, accruals, journals, reconciliations, credit control and invoicing
- Striving to improve processes and controls
- Identifying cost saving and profit maximising opportunities
- Supporting the Fractional CFO with strategic decisions and fundraising
- Liaising with external accountants for year end
- Experience at Management Accountant level and above in an SME
- Background in retail/product based businesses
- Highly confident with producing management accounts and financial reports
- Capable of being hands on with all aspects of finance, including supporting a Finance Assistant
- Analytical, with a keen eye for detail
- High degree of commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fashion industry experience
