Agora Talent is delighted to be working with a fast-growth luxury fashion brand in their search for a Finance Assistant to join the team. Our client is a thriving British label on a significant growth journey. Known for combining sophistication with practicality, the brand offers premium, versatile clothing that has resonated robustly with consumers, who show a strong brand loyalty. With 6 stores nationwide and further concessions (with plans for more this year), they are fast becoming a household name in their niche; even venturing into the US market in 2023, with great success. You’ll support their financial operations during an exciting growth period. Working with sales reconciliations, expense tracking, and month-end processes, you’ll quickly become involved in management accounting too - ideal for fast career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with month-end closing
  • Performing sales and cash reconciliations
  • Maintaining sales records and investigating discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate journal entries
  • Tracking costs and expenses
  • Building relationships with store managers
  • Ownership of accounts payable and receivable
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in finance
  • Retail industry exposure
  • AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier or willing to study
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 + full study support + bonus

Location: London (3 days in office)
