Our client is a thriving British label on a significant growth journey. Known for combining sophistication with practicality, the brand offers premium, versatile clothing that has resonated robustly with consumers, who show a strong brand loyalty. With 6 stores nationwide and further concessions (with plans for more this year), they are fast becoming a household name in their niche; even venturing into the US market in 2023, with great success. You’ll support their financial operations during an exciting growth period. Working with sales reconciliations, expense tracking, and month-end processes, you’ll quickly become involved in management accounting too - ideal for fast career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting with month-end closing
- Performing sales and cash reconciliations
- Maintaining sales records and investigating discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate journal entries
- Tracking costs and expenses
- Building relationships with store managers
- Ownership of accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in finance
- Retail industry exposure
- AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier or willing to study
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 + full study support + bonus
