I’m currently partnering with a high-growth AI infrastructure company looking to hire their first commercial lead focused on the UK & Ireland market. This is not a “manage an existing patch” role. This is a genuine build opportunity for someone who wants to own a market from zero — developing pipeline, closing enterprise accounts, shaping GTM strategy, and helping define what success looks like in one of Europe’s most commercially demanding regions.
The business works with leading consumer and digital brands across retail, grocery, eCommerce, and high-frequency transactional environments, helping them operationalise data and AI to drive faster commercial decisions and growth.
They’re looking for someone who:
- Has personally closed complex enterprise deals
- Knows how to build pipeline from scratch
- Thrives in ambiguity and high ownership environments
- Operates with a founder mentality
- Can engage confidently with senior commercial and operational stakeholders
Strong bonus points for experience across:
- Retail / Grocery / eCommerce / FMCG
- Data, analytics, AI, or growth infrastructure
- Modern AI-enabled GTM workflows
The type of profiles that tend to do well in this environment:
- Early-stage enterprise sellers
- Consultants wanting more ownership and execution
- Builders who enjoy creating systems, not inheriting them
Why this role stands out:
- First GTM hire in region
- Direct exposure to founders and strategy
- Fast-moving environment with minimal bureaucracy
- Real opportunity to shape commercial direction
If you’re someone who enjoys building, solving difficult commercial problems, and operating close to product and strategy — happy to share more details confidentially.
