Role in the Consumer facing team:

This team aims to create the smoothest checkout experience for users by offering personalized payment methods and scaling the experience across other funnels like flights and activities. The Growth & Retention team focuses on attracting new users while retaining existing ones by leveraging competitive pricing, rewards, and programs to enhance user engagement and loyalty.

Experience Requirements & Role Expectations:

  • 5+ years of full-time experience as a UX/Interaction designer for digital or web-based products; in-house designer experience highly preferred
  • Has experience of managing multiple stakeholders with agile development process
  • Proficient in creating wireframes, UX design tools and prototyping
  • A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions as it relates to web-based products or mobile applications that with complexities
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English
  • Good visual skills, familiarity with components usage

The Product Designer is an experienced problem solver for the areas with high complexity. He/she will work closely with Product stakeholders to collaborate and execute on the product team’s roadmap and milestones. The Designer also possesses domain knowledge and expertise of the products or initiatives, to co-create future partner-centric product strategy or roadmap with your stakeholders. He/she will lead by creating alignment, telling compelling and persuasive stories to illustrate hotel users’ problems connected with enterprise business journey, clearly articulate design decisions, driving and pushing for optimal UX solutions to stakeholders and influence the enterprise business for the longer term visions.

Role Responsibility:

  • You will deliver hands-on design solutions for moderately complex enterprise business scenarios and well-defined business problems, aligning with property partners’ vision and our business goals.
  • You will actively engage in research and collaborate with our researcher to evaluate the impact of proposed solutions, driving improvements and refinements towards achieving desired outcomes in property partner-facing products.
  • You will acquire deep domain knowledge in OTA (Online Travel Agency) business through daily collaboration with product leaders, analyzing research insights, and working closely with product stakeholders.
  • You will represent ‘Agoda Design’ by advocating user-centric design principles and engaging with external property partner touchpoints.
  • You will collaborate with product stakeholders to drive continuous discovery processes, validating and shaping ideas to experiment with and build upon, thereby influencing enterprise product strategy and roadmap.
