Responsibilities

It’s vital to have a love of engineering and a passion for building things. As a development manager, you will be responsible for working together with product managers, shaping and executing projects, leading technical decisions, guiding and reviewing the development team’s work, and at times getting more hands‑on. A big part of this role will be to work closely with our central mobile platform team, ensuring your team adopts the latest platform features they develop. You will be responsible for creating and driving a roadmap for continuous code cleanup and for defining a robust testing strategy to ensure the highest quality of delivery. This position requires you to expertly balance two key functions: acting as the technical product manager for the team to define what and why, and as the project manager for feature development across this large, critical area to drive how and when. You will also play a crucial role in coordinating with other stakeholders, reporting to senior leadership, and making strategic decisions that will take the company to the next level. As a technology company, we keep up with the latest ideas and innovations and make key decisions on when to adopt, when to follow, and when to innovate. You will be expected to stay in touch with where industry trends are heading and to have strong opinions about how systems should be engineered, evolved, and maintained. You will also be responsible for recruiting other A‑players and integrating them into the business.

What you’ll Need to Succeed

• Extremely proficient in either Swift or Kotlin languages
• Experienced with, or interested in learning cross‑platform technologies and frameworks such as Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, Flutter, NativeScript, Ionic
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus (e.g. Objective‑C, Java, C#, Scala)
• Extremely proficient in modern coding practices (dependency injection, reactive programming, MVVM, design patterns)
• Passionate about technology and mobile apps
• Experience working in a successful agile development team
• Able to take full responsibility for the product – from early planning stages to deployment and maintenance.
