The Performance Marketing Team of Agoda is a world leader in online marketing. This department is highly data‑driven and focused on developing at‑scale marketing programs that improve the lifetime value of Agoda customers through measurable marketing programs and channels. The team is a blend of the best analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists in the world. The marketing leadership at Agoda has deep experience in data science, product, strategy, and other marketing fields and has built an organization that thrives on data, creative ideas, and technology. The Performance Marketing Team also fosters a great learning environment. You will be able to learn and grow by working closely with experts from a variety of backgrounds from all over the world.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Set Marketing strategy for Flights verticals (outside of pricing).
- Spearhead the development, execution, and optimisation strategy for growing Agoda’s Flights business on different channels.
- Conduct end‑to‑end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behaviour, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights.
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data‑driven decisions for channel growth.
- Partner closely with various business functions, especially Marketing Accommodation, Flights product and flights supply, to identify opportunities, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools such as SQL or Tableau.
- Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to key stakeholders, including senior management.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Extensive experience: 5‑7 years in Data Analyst position or otherwise in projects involving big data—preferably in the tech, e‑commerce, or digital marketing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Math or Engineering or Economics and Finance is a plus.
- Data‑driven approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, translate data into actionable insights, and generate impactful recommendations.
- Proficient in business intelligence tools and data warehouse i.e. SQL, Tableau and MS Excel.
- Innovative problem‑solving skills: The ability to tackle complex challenges in a non‑linear fashion is essential.
- Strong communication skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to effectively communicate, influence and persuade with different levels of stakeholders (including Senior Management) with proven strong commercial acumen.
It’s great if you have:
- Experience in digital or social media marketing.
- Experience in hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python/R for data manipulation and analysis.
