The Opportunity
In this role you'll design robust backend systems and architecture scalable data pipelines to support complex financial analytics and decision making.
What You'll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of productsârequirement gathering, technology selection, coding standards, agile delivery, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Design, develop, and maintain platforms and data pipelines across fintech.
- Build stable, scalable, highâperformant systems for dynamic financial operations.
- Mentor and coach teammates and the broader engineering community.
- Collaborate crossâfunctionally to achieve product and technology goals.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of talent to shape the team.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in Java, Kotlin, Scala, or C# with proven highâperformance production experience.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, realâtime frameworks, advanced SQL, and data architecture.
- Systemâcentric thinking: designing for edge cases, failure modes, and lifecycle.
- Metricsâdriven decision making using data.
- Passion for software craftsmanship and continuous learning.
- Agile / Scrum experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Operational excellence, metrics, alarms, and dashboards knowledge.
Nice to Have
- FinTech or payments background.
- Domain knowledge: reconciliation, reporting, tax, payout methods.
- Handsâon experience with Spark, ETL, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes familiarity.
