About Our Design Systems Team
ADS is a multiâplatform design system, and we provide the building blocks for Agoda and our whiteâlabel partners to build better products faster. We are a crossâfunctional team of designers, engineers, QA, accessibility experts and a product manager.
Responsibilities
- Bring expertise in building design systems that balance flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. Your designs will scale across multiple platforms and use cases. You apply systems thinking to create reusable patterns that drive consistency, considering competing needs and dependencies across teams.
- Advocate for quality: thrive in the details, build clean, modern UI systems, push for accessibility, craft elegant solutions for users of varying abilities, and use data to guide decisions and measure success.
- Collaborate & evangelize: work proactively across teams to uncover needs, drive alignment, and generate excitement for design system adoption. Enforce healthy processes, drive alignment across teams, and coach midâlevel and junior designers.
Track Record
- 6+ years of experience working in user experience, product, or a relevant design field.
- 3+ years experience working in an explicit design systems role.
- UserâCentered Design approach, prioritising user needs, behaviours, and accessibility.
- Knowledge of design systems, developing and maintaining consistency across large platforms.
- Interaction design experience, creating engaging experiences with animations, transitions, and microâinteractions.
- Visual design skills: mastery of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent proficiency with relevant tools, standards and frameworks (Figma, Design Tokens, WCAG, etc.).
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a large organisation - designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Highâlevel understanding or experience with frontâend development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS).
Qualities We Value
