One specialist data position on one of the largest Oracle Fusion transformations running in UK government. This is the legacy data role. You are the authority on what is actually in the legacy estate, what the rules say has to happen to it, and what the regulator will ask about it. Oracle Fusion experience is preferred here, not essential. If you know legacy data properly, you are in scope.
THE ROLE
- Deliver insight across data warehousing, data modelling and data architecture
- Set best practice for legacy data - cleansing, augmentation, extraction and integration
- Own regulatory requirements and policy alignment for data
- Assure the solution for managing legacy data across its full lifecycle
- Work with the architecture team and the government shared services provider so the solution is compliant, integrated and future-facing
ESSENTIAL
- Deep data warehousing and data modelling capability
- Ownership of legacy data lifecycle - cleansing, extraction, augmentation, retention or retirement
- Understanding of regulatory and policy requirements around data, including retention and disposal
- Comfort across a multi-supplier landscape where you influence rather than instruct
- UK central government or large regulated programme background
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Working alongside a government shared services provider
- Archiving and retention strategy on a decommissioning programme

- Location: Two days per week on site - Tuesday London or Manchester, Wednesday Birmingham
