A UK central government benefits modernisation programme is hiring a data architect.
Two live benefits are moving off a legacy platform onto a modern multi-benefit service. Two solution architects are designing the platform. This role designs the data.
What you will do
- Own the data requirements and objectives for the modernisation across both benefits
- Identify and document the data structures, data processes and systems the programme needs
- Make sure data flows to the right places, and that statutory reporting requirements are met
- Act as the bridge between data stakeholders, the delivery teams and the central data function
- Present data architecture designs to technical governance forums
- Shape and support technology initiatives across the programme
What you need
- Data architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards
- Data modelling, Master Data Management, metadata management and data governance
- Presenting data architecture design to technical governance forums
- Event-based architecture design including publish-subscribe and data streaming
- Public cloud with cloud hosting, container and networking design patterns — AWS, Azure or GCP
- DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery
Tools: AWS and Microsoft Azure, Lucid, GitHub and GitLab.
