A leading offshore law firm is seeking a corporate associate to join its London office, as part of a growing Cayman law capability serving the UK, European and Dubai markets.
The team advises on a broad range of corporate matters under Cayman Islands law, with instructions drawn primarily from leading onshore London firms.
Work spans M&A, private equity structures, equity capital markets, joint ventures and reorganisations, alongside a growing technology practice covering Web3, digital assets and AI.
Prior Cayman experience is not required: the jurisdiction is heavily grounded in English law principles and full training will be provided.
The team is lean and collegiate, with a strong sense of community within the London office.
The working environment is genuinely flexible, with a daily billing target of around six hours, reflecting a culture that values quality of work over volume of hours.
For lawyers accustomed to the demands of a top-tier onshore practice, this represents a meaningful shift without any compromise on the calibre of work or clients.
Strong candidates will bring
- A minimum of 5 years\' PQE, qualified in England and Wales or another Commonwealth jurisdiction
- Experience at a recognised Legal 500 firm in general corporate work, with exposure to M&A, private equity or capital markets
- Interest in or exposure to technology, Web3 or digital assets is an advantage
- Confidence leading on matters and advising clients directly
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in building offshore expertise
Salary sits at mid-market levels, reflecting the genuinely flexible working environment and below-market billing expectations on offer.
