A top-tier US law firm, ranked Tier 1 for UK M&A and recognised as one of the leading global advisers on complex cross-border transactions, is seeking a Junior to Mid Level Corporate M&A Associate to join its London Corporate team. The firm's UK M&A practice advises on high-value, high-profile public and private M&A across sectors including technology, consumer, financial services, fintech, pharmaceuticals, natural resources, crypto, media and industrials. The team has recently advised on some of the largest and most significant UK public takeovers, working with listed companies, multinationals and financial sponsors on complex inbound and outbound cross-border deals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious M&A lawyer to gain genuine end-to-end deal responsibility, direct client contact and exposure to the most sophisticated transactions in the market, within a collegiate and highly regarded team.
- 2-4 years' relevant UK post-qualification experience, ideally gained in the London market
- Extensive experience on complex, high-profile M&A transactions, including cross-border deal management
- Strong track record advising on both public and private M&A, from inception through to completion
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers and/or trainees
- Confident, commercially-minded approach with the ability to manage sophisticated clients and complex transactions
- Excellent academic credentials, technical skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
