A respected offshore firm in the British Virgin Islands is seeking a skilled dispute resolution lawyer to join its prominent litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a high-calibre lawyer looking to progress their career within a collaborative, well-resourced team operating at the forefront of complex cross-border disputes.
Acting for a diverse international client base that includes major financial institutions, multinational corporations, fiduciaries, and HNWI\’s, the team advises across a broad range of commercial litigation, insolvency, fraud, asset recovery, trust disputes, and related contentious matters. Many of the firm’s cases are multi-jurisdictional in nature, often involving parallel proceedings in other key offshore and onshore financial centres.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in managing high-value litigation from inception through to resolution, working closely with market-leading partners and colleagues. This is a career-enhancing role offering strong mentorship, excellent visibility, and genuine long-term progression prospects.
Candidate Requirements:
- +4 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial litigation or insolvency disputes.
- Admitted to practice in the BVI or England & Wales.
- Applications are welcomed from both solicitors and barristers with relevant experience.
- Strong academic background and training from a reputable firm or chambers.
- Previous offshore experience ideal.
- Sound technical skills, excellent drafting ability, and commercial awareness.
