Senior Litigation Associate | British Virgin Islands

A respected offshore law firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its small but expanding litigation practice in the British Virgin Islands. This is a key strategic hire, aimed at strengthening the firm’s offering across complex cross-border disputes, with a particular focus on insolvency, asset recovery, and commercial litigation.

Applicants will be qualified in the BVI or England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. A strong track record in contentious insolvency and restructuring, as well as broader commercial litigation, is required. Prior offshore experience is welcome, but not essential.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:

• Lead on complex and multi jurisdictional disputes with minimal supervision
• Advise on high-value litigation and insolvency matters in a client-facing capacity
• Draft and oversee all core court materials including pleadings, witness evidence and applications
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
• Engage confidently with clients, counsel and external advisors
