Overview
A leading offshore law firm is seeking two Senior Associates to join its Corporate Funds practice in Jersey. These appointments will focus on servicing a flagship client of the firm, ensuring exposure to a steady stream of complex and high-value work, with little or no requirement for business development.
Responsibilities
- Advising a key institutional client on a wide range of corporate and transactional mandates.
- Managing sophisticated matters with limited supervision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Drafting and negotiating complex documentation to the highest standards.
- Collaborating with senior colleagues and mentoring junior team members.
- Supporting the delivery of seamless client service on major mandates.
Qualifications
- Commonwealth qualified lawyers with 5–8 years’ PQE and excellent academics.
- Strong M&A experience is highly desirable, although those with a broader corporate background will also be considered.
- Previous funds experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Capable of managing complex transactions independently and demonstrate exceptional intelligence, judgement and drafting ability.
- Fluency in French or Swedish would be a welcome addition but is not essential.
