We are assisting a leading offshore firm seeking a senior associate to join its litigation practice in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a young, dynamic partner in a team renowned for handling complex, high value disputes across funds, trusts, regulatory and financial services matters.
The practice is frequently instructed on contentious issues involving major investment funds, shareholder and valuation disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, complex trusts litigation, fraud and asset tracing, and investigations brought by regulators and enforcement authorities. The work is international in scope and offers consistent exposure to multi-jurisdictional mandates requiring technical depth and commercial judgment.
You will manage your own caseload, taking a lead role on drafting and strategy, and supporting larger disputes alongside partners, while also contributing to advisory work connected to contentious matters and take an active role in developing junior team members.
Candidates should be Commonwealth qualified with a minimum of six years' post qualification experience and a strong background in high quality litigation. Experience in funds disputes, trusts litigation or regulatory investigations will be viewed favourably. Strong academics, excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage complex work streams are essential.
A competitive package is offered together with meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to grow within a team that values initiative and technical excellence. Jersey delivers high impact international work alongside an enviable coastal lifestyle, making it an appealing base for ambitious litigators seeking both progression and balance.
