A major offshore law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Associate to join its growing Banking & Finance practice in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-calibre team advising global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants, and fund managers across a wide spectrum of finance matters.
The Role
- Advise clients on complex banking and finance transactions across secured lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, and capital markets.
- Deliver technically robust, commercially focused advice to global clients and intermediaries.
- Support colleagues, senior counsel, and partners on a range of matters while managing your own client portfolio.
- Contribute to business development, client presentations, and the practice’s knowledge base.
- Maintain a strong record of utilisation, revenue generation, and cost management.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in banking & finance.
- Strong academic background and proven technical expertise.
- Commercially minded, ambitious, and capable of building trusted client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience gained with a leading onshore or offshore firm is advantageous.
