A Tier 1 US law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its leading Corporate Restructuring practice in London. The team advises debtors, creditors and other stakeholders on high-value, complex restructuring and insolvency matters. Work spans out-of-court restructurings, formal insolvency proceedings, financial recapitalisations and multi-jurisdictional reorganisations, often working alongside top-tier finance, capital markets, M&A and disputes teams. Matters are frequently cross-border, fast-moving and strategically significant. Associates are given meaningful responsibility early and are expected to operate with confidence, precision and sound commercial judgement.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years' PQE in restructuring, insolvency or distressed finance
- England and Wales qualified or qualified in a comparable common law jurisdiction
- Strong technical ability and excellent drafting skills
- Comfortable working with responsibility and limited supervision
- Strong academic background
- Exceptional candidates outside the stated PQE range will be considered on merit.
