A leading international arbitration boutique is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Associate based in London to join its practice. This role is strictly for lawyers currently practising in London, with elite UK private practice training. England & Wales qualification is strongly preferred, and the role will suit an associate from a top-tier City or international firm looking for greater responsibility and deeper exposure within a specialist arbitration environment. The practice acts for corporates, sovereigns and investors on high-value international disputes, with a particular focus on infrastructure, energy and major projects.

The Role

  • Developing case strategy on major construction and infrastructure disputes
  • Drafting high-quality written submissions and supervising junior team members
  • Managing research, evidence and document production
  • Preparing witness and expert evidence, including delay and quantum issues
  • Liaising directly with clients, experts, tribunals and opposing counsel
  • Supporting partners on business development and thought leadership

Candidate Profile

  • 3–6 years’ PQE, with current London-based practice
  • England & Wales qualified (strongly preferred)
  • Trained at a top-tier UK or international firm with a recognised arbitration practice
  • Solid experience in international arbitration or cross-border disputes, ideally in construction, engineering or energy
  • Excellent academics and strong written advocacy
  • Comfortable with arbitral procedure and related court applications
  • Additional languages welcomed but not essential
