This role sits within a leading offshore litigation team and offers hands-on exposure to complex, cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters from day one. Ideal for a UK-based associate currently working in insolvency, restructuring or commercial litigation who wants high-quality work, real responsibility and a clearer route to progression.
You will work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, including formal appointments, asset recovery and enforcement strategies, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements. The role offers regular client contact and the chance to take ownership of matters well beyond what is typical at this level in larger onshore practices.

- Experience in insolvency, restructuring or commercial litigation
- Strong academics and ambition to develop specialist expertise
- Currently UK-based and seeking a long-term offshore move
Why This Role
This is a lean, specialist team with real market visibility. You will not be hidden behind layers of hierarchy. Instead, you will build technical depth, client relationships and profile early, with a credible and transparent path for progression. Furthermore, Guernsey offers short commutes and an excellent quality of life, making it a compelling alternative to onshore UK urban living.
