Fleet Sales Manager Agnew Group Volkswagen Belfast £55,000 (OTE) Job Summary: The Fleet Sales Manager role is responsible for managing the fleet department and customer relationships day to day. You will also liaise with and develop relationships with Volkswagen and their dealership network to secure suitable terms and good supply. You will work closely with both our Leasing Companies to drive new business and our Business Development Manager to grow the local market with brand offerings. You will be commercially minded but with a strong sense of customer care, working hand in hand with our Aftersales department when required. Key Responsibilities: Manage, motivate and monitor the Fleet Department to achieve set budgets and ultimately grow the business. Have a good understanding of all pipeline business and ensure our rate of sale is on track. Securing existing and conquest business and being actively involved with key decision makers. Work closely with sales support, including the technical data to ensure we are always up to date and our systems are accurate. Keep abreast of all manufacturer updates and ensure this information is circulated within the team in a structured fashion. Oversee the end of contract renewals to ensure we are quoting for replacement business in a timely manner Coach, mentor and develop colleagues and in particular the new members of the team. Ability to demonstrate leading and motivating a team. Build/Maintain long term customer relationships that are valuable to the Agnew Group. Resolve any customer issues in a satisfactory manner. Actively participate in marketing meetings and overall strategy within the business. Help organise and be actively involved in out of hours client entertaining when necessary. Adhere to the Agnew leasing toolkit to ensure we are Audit compliant at all times. Take an active part in upholding the Companys Health and Safety Policy Comply with company legislation as set out in the Company Handbook Your Skill Set: Demonstrate an ability to meet and exceed targets, a self-motivated, driven individual who leads by example. Have Fleet Industry experience at Senior level. A clear understanding of all types of funding, in particular contract hire and its financial impact to both the business and individual. Demonstrate commercial acumen to interpret financial and market information, making considered long-term decisions for the business. Have a good working knowledge of IT, including CRM systems and sales flow management. An interest in marketing would be advantageous. Ability to invest in relationships and relationship manage with clients, and other stakeholders within the business. Ability to improve overall business performance by introducing new initiatives and ideas. Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. Strong presentational skills with good knowledge of PowerPoint and excel to assist with tender submissions/securing new business.
