We are keen to recruit Bodyshop Apprentices for our busy Repair Centre and Preparation Centre in Belfast. We have opportunities in both Boucher Crescent and Titanic Quarter, Belfast. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00.

Opportunities are available across 3 Skilled Trades:

  • Technician Body Repair: Developing skills in vehicle repair damage following a collision using modern repair technology, manufacturer software systems, the latest repair techniques, bonding & riveting, gaining knowledge from some of the most skilled craftsmen in the industry.
  • Technician Mechanical & Electrical: Learning how to identify and fix damaged mechanical and electrical components on vehicles, removing trims associated with repair or renewal, facilitating each process of production.
  • Technician Vehicle Paint Refinishing: Learning how to prepare and paint vehicles to the highest standards using modern materials with access to some of the most sophisticated plant & equipment available, working on some of the most prestigious vehicles on the market.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be able to demonstrate how they meet the following criteria:

  • Have achieved or be expected to achieve at least grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate a passionate interest in or relevant practical experience of motor vehicles.
  • Strong ability in IT.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • The ability to learn and apply new concepts and ideas.
  • A genuine desire to become a competent Paint and Body Technician.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, as shift patterns may be in operation.
