We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with van driving experience, looking for a new challenge within the removals sector, to join a prestigious growing team based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

You will be responsible for moving and handling customers\' household and personal possessions, whilst undertaking HGV Driver training.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Learn the role of a Removals Operative by shadowing current Operatives and Senior Operatives to secure knowledge of the role and build confidence.
  2. Interact and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in the movement of goods across the UK and Europe.
  3. Assist in moving and handling customer goods to and from locations over various distances across the UK and Europe.
  4. Pack and wrap customer goods, manually and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into locations.
  5. Complete necessary on-the-job paperwork to a high standard.
  6. Follow H&S guidelines and carry out Banks-person duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Full UK driver\'s licence (no more than 3 points) - Essential.
  • Excellent customer service and organisational skills - Essential.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in light commercial or delivery driving.
  • Previous removals sector experience.
  • Multilingual abilities.
  • Previous warehouse or forklift experience.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with location allowance and overtime.
