HGV Driver (Class 2) & Removals Operative will be responsible for safely packing, loading, unloading, transporting and handling customers' household and personal possessions, delivering a high-quality, professional removals service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times
- Pack, carry, load and unload the vehicle containing customer and client personal effects and furniture
- Operate a commercial HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Check all vehicle loads comply with the requirements of Road Traffic Legislation
- Complete all vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- Maintain CPC training requirements
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Support continuous improvement and development
- Any other duties as may be requested by Management
Qualifications
- Full UK HGV Class 2 licence (max 6 points)
- Valid CPC licence
- Proven 2 years HGV driving experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills
