We are now looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver (HGV) and Removals Operative to join our growing team based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times
  • Pack, carry, load and unload the vehicle containing customer and client personal effects and furniture
  • Operate a commercial HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Check all vehicle loads comply with the requirements of Road Traffic Legislation
  • Complete all vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work
  • Maintain CPC training requirements
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Support continuous improvement and development
  • Any other duties as may be requested by Management

Essential

  • Full UK Drivers Licence (max 6 points)
  • Excellent customer service skills

Desirable

  • 2 years proven HGV driving experience
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous removals experience
  • Multilingual skills
