Drivers (Class 2) will be responsible for safely transporting and handling customers’ household and personal possessions, delivering a high-quality, professional removals service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of driving including compliance with Traffic Regulations
- Maintain discipline and morale
- In charge of vehicle upon deployment
- Ensure all goods are clearly identified using the correct procedures
- Handle, lift, pack, load and unload furniture, household, office and commercial effects correctly, carefully professionally and following the correct procedures
- Complete job paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide tachograph records on a regular, correct and fully completed basis
Essential Qualifications
- Full UK driver’s licence (No more than 3 points)
- Valid Class 2 Licence
- CPC Qualification
- Proven HGV driving experience
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous removals experience
- Valid Passport (for potential European travel)
- Multilingual skills
Benefits
- Competitive salary: £33,051.20 per annum
- Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturdays
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week (weekdays). Start times can vary depending on the job and can finish late on occasion
