Removals Operative & Trainee Driver will be responsible for moving and handling customers' household and personal possessions, whilst undertaking the HGV Driver Training programme to obtain a Class 2 HGV licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Start as a Removals Operative to build skills, route knowledge and confidence
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues across UK & Europe
- Assist with moving, handling and transporting goods, including van driving (short & long distances)
- Pack, wrap and safely load/unload customer belongings (manual lifting required)
- Complete job paperwork accurately and on time
- Follow H&S procedures, including Banksman duties
- Learn the Removals Operative role while completing HGV driver training
Essential
- Full UK drivers’ licence (no more than 3 points)
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
Desirable
- Previous removals experience
- Multilingual skills
- Valid Passport (for potential European travel)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £27,976 per annum (Rising upon the completion of the HGV Driver Training Programme)
- Days – Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
- Hours – guaranteed 40 hours per week (weekdays). Start times can vary depending on the job and can finish late on occasion.

- Nights away allowances £35 UK & £40 EU
- Van driver allowance
- Based out of the Brandon depot
