We’re hiring an experienced Transport Manager to lead our logistics operations across the UK and Ireland. You’ll oversee the movement of goods using our fleet of articulated units, trailers, and rigid lorries, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety at all times. Knowledge of shipping bookings and customs clearance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily transport activities in line with legal and company standards
Plan and optimise delivery schedules and routes
Maintain accurate transport records and shipment documentation
Coordinate with drivers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows
Use IT systems to monitor performance and improve efficiency
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance requirements
Schedule routine maintenance, 6–8 weekly checks, MOTs/PSVs
Oversee tachograph data download and compliance analysis
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in transport management or a similar role
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and transport-related systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A driving licence is preferred; flexibility to drive if required
