Position: Site Civil Engineer
Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding Civil Engineering Contractor operating throughout the North and South of Ireland.
Job Description: Due to our growth, we are recruiting multiple candidates to join our team as Site Civil Engineers. This role offers an opportunity for professional development and progression towards site management. As a Site Engineer, you will collaborate with the site team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget for customers across Ireland.
Qualifications:
- Third-level construction degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
Essential Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Full valid driving license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD software
- Setting out experience using Trimble equipment
Duties Include:
- Communicating onsite information
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
- Setting out project works and undertaking surveys
- Checking drawings and quantities for material orders
- Efficient planning of work to meet deadlines
- Monitoring and communicating with workforce and subcontractors
- Keeping daily records of site operations
- Resolving technical issues with project manager and clients
- Experience: 1 year in civil engineering (preferred) Travel: 25% (preferred)
