About the Job

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team, providing end-to-end management of bespoke projects. Your role involves ensuring excellent client service, positive commercial outcomes, and adherence to safe working practices. As the Project Manager, you will oversee various projects from quotation to completion, requiring strong leadership and communication skills, along with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Our client is a family-run construction company based in Colchester, with over 40 years of experience. We aim to deliver high-quality services that positively impact our clients and supply chains. Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in delivering quotations and projects to clients.
  • Oversee and manage on-site staff and key admin roles.
  • Handle internal and external issues related to projects.
  • Ensure safe project delivery following H&S guidelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with directors regarding contracts.
  • Prepare and maintain project information.
  • Attend site meetings and review programs with site supervisors.
  • Manage project resources and report any issues to directors.
  • Ensure client requirements are met to their satisfaction.

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time
  • Salary: £45,000 per year (depending on skills/experience)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday
  • Management Experience: 5 years (required)
  • Work Location: In and around Colchester, Essex
  • Benefits: Company vehicle, pension, 28 days annual paid holiday including bank holidays, increasing holiday allowance based on years of service, on-site parking, optional social events
