About the Role:We are currently seeking a Yard Manager / Supervisor to join our team at our Depot in Barnsley. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations in the Yard, ensuring a safe working environment and organized equipment. Your role will involve stock management, maintenance, and overseeing deliveries to construction sites.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Supervise team and busy yard / warehouse area.

Manage current stock and communicate shortages promptly to minimize disruption.

Ensure a safe, clean, and tidy working environment.

Oversee loading and unloading of materials.

Implement security measures for the yard.
Experience and Skills:

Previous experience managing a building depot / yard preferred.

Strong communication and team management skills.

Proficient in computer use, able to utilize tablets for equipment management.

Counterbalance license preferred but not essential.

Valid driving license required.

Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure.
Hours of Work:Between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
