Integration Test Manager/Engineer - Warehousing & Logistics
Location: United Kingdom
The Role: We are seeking a hands-on Integration Test Manager/Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of integration testing (offsite and onsite) for a large warehouse automation project. Sub-systems involved include:
- WCS (Warehouse Control System) Software
- Interface to ERP system
- Automated Crate Storage & Retrieval System
- Automated Pallet Storage System
- Automated Crate Sortation System
- Automated Robot Cells
- Automated Routing via Conveyors and AMRs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear integration test strategy and plan to address technical risks and ensure a smooth go-live and ramp-up.
- Analyze integration test requirements from Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and align with Business Requirements (CPD) and Manufacturing Functional Design (MFD).
- Prepare comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and documentation covering software, automated equipment, and functional testing.
- Identify and coordinate all dependencies related to integration testing with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure test environments are prepared and synchronized across systems according to schedule.
- Oversee preparation and validation of test data and products for testing activities.
- Lead and execute integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.
