Purpose of the role
As a key member of the IT & Software department, the role’s primary focus is on Enterprise IT in providing technical expertise and guidance to help enhance the overall performance, security and effectiveness of the organisation’s technology platforms, infrastructure and services which are utilised by our AGITO team members every day. Ensure that physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure operates effectively, implementing best practices and providing ongoing maintenance to all systems to ensure continued uptime, security patching, and maintenance as required. Provide internal team members with support in all Enterprise IT matters and participate in the design, implementation and ongoing management of solutions for AGITO customers.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support for hardware, software, services and networks, ensuring resolution of incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Configure and deploy solutions, both on premises and cloud, based upon organisational needs and industry best practices.
- Proactively monitor system performance and health, ensuring high availability, reliability and security across all AGITO IT systems.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching and updates.
- Develop and keep up to date processes and procedures for Enterprise IT.
- Monitor and action tickets in a timely manner in accordance with SLAs for AGITO team members.
- Evaluate different technologies and tools, recommending the ones that best meet the organisation’s needs.
- Participate in the implementation and ongoing governance of ISO27001 certification.
- Work on technology solutions for various AGITO initiatives and projects.
- Implement and manage server hardware, switches, virtualisation platforms and cloud environments.
- Participate in the commissioning, installation and connection of AGITO developed systems on customer’s site where required.
- Play an active daily role with End User Computing requests, provisioning and ongoing technology management.
Key Experience, Knowledge and Skills required
- Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum 5+ years’ experience in IT.
- Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar Senior IT role.
- Have strong problem‑solving ability and be able to think strategically.
- Possess excellent analytical skills and have the capacity to analyse complex information and make informed decisions.
- Have experience in implementing and managing solutions on both Linux and Windows platforms, in both server and end‑user devices.
- Have experience in implementing and managing Cloud solutions on Azure as a minimum.
- Work collaboratively and be committed to be part of a successful team.
- Administrative experience in the Azure O365 suite along with InTune and EntraID.
- Respond quickly to client demands, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet business needs.
- Familiarity with IT automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, MS Power Automate, MS Forms, Power BI).
- Familiarity and exposure with networking technologies and network fundamentals.
- Familiarity and exposure with industry PAM systems (Privileged Access Management), e.g., Beyond Trust.
- Familiarity and exposure with database technologies and database fundamentals with a focus on MS SQL.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to interact with technical and non‑technical team members.

- Be a continuous learner and keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, constantly expanding knowledge and skills.

- An ability to adapt and be across new technologies.
