What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
- 48 hours per week
A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant:
- Person‑centred care – ensure residents receive personal care, including bathing, dressing, oral care, promoting choice and independence.
- Review – contribute to and carry out care reviews with residents to ensure plans reflect their needs.
- Medication – administer residents' medication safely, supportively and compliantly.
- Social Activity – lead and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
- Leadership – support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, may be called upon to lead the home where senior managers are not available.
