Care home: Trafalgar Care Home, Weymouth
What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- Must be flexible to work 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends
- Previous experience in an activities role is required for this position
Compensation and Benefits:
- £12.25 per hour

A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator:
- Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
- Creating activities – designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources
- Event planning – planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for residents
- Resident interaction – engaging with residents to identify desired activities and bringing them to fruition
- External communications – liaising with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits or arrange trips for residents
- Mobility – supporting residents to live as independently as possible through activities (e.g., Zumba, ballroom, balloon tennis)
- Social activities – arranging trips out and in-home engagements for all abilities
