A day in the life of a Senior Home Care AssistantHealth and Wellbeing - You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clientsPersonal care - You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral careMeals and domestic tasks - You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasksMobility - You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible.Social activities - You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's homeMedication - You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creamsMentorship - As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor themSpot checks - You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered ManagerAbout AgincareWe’re a family run business that’s been caring and supporting people since 1986.
