What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
  • A valid, in-date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
  • Evidence of recent clinical CPD
  • Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but not essential

Opportunities available:

  • Registered Nurse – 48 hours per week
  • Bank Registered Nurse – flexible day, night shifts, including alternative weekends as required

A day in the life of a Registered Nurse:

  • Motivate, mentor and develop a team of care staff to meet residents’ clinical needs.
  • Assist residents with personal care in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Liaise with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure care provision meets their requirements and make recommendations based on changes in care needs.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with company policy.
  • Monitor resident nutrition and hydration, updating nutrition plans as needed.
  • Monitor residents for risks such as pressure wounds and abnormalities in toilet output.
  • Participate in and promote resident activities.
