What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
- A valid, in-date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
- Evidence of recent clinical CPD
- Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but not essential
Opportunities available:
- Registered Nurse – 48 hours per week
- Bank Registered Nurse – flexible day, night shifts, including alternative weekends as required
A day in the life of a Registered Nurse:
- Motivate, mentor and develop a team of care staff to meet residents’ clinical needs.
- Assist residents with personal care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Liaise with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure care provision meets their requirements and make recommendations based on changes in care needs.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with company policy.
- Monitor resident nutrition and hydration, updating nutrition plans as needed.
- Monitor residents for risks such as pressure wounds and abnormalities in toilet output.
- Participate in and promote resident activities.
