What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Previous experience required in maintenance and gardening
  • This is a full time role at 36 to 40 hours per week to include working alternate weekends

A day in the life of a Maintenance Person:

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements.
  • You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows.
  • If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
  • Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents.
  • You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
