What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- At least two years' experience working in a social care environment
- Qualified to at least QCF level 2
- Qualified to a level 3 in Health & Social Care, or be working towards
- Previous experience in a Care home setting
- 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends
A day in the life of a Care Team Leader:
- Companionship: Provide support, communication and engagement with our residents.
- Personal care: Support with a wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care.
- Mobility: Ensure that the residents can live as independently as possible.
- Social Activities: In collaboration with the Activities Coordinator and care home management you will plan and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
- Medication: You will support and oversee medication administration, including the upkeep of appropriate documentation.
- Document management: You will ensure all documentation relevant to those who use our service is accurate and up-to-date at all times.
- Collaboration: You will offer support and access to, as well as working collaboratively with other health & social care professionals.
- Management: You will hold line manager responsibilities to care and senior care assistants, and in the absence of the Deputy and Registered Manager will hold responsibility for the home.
