What you’ll be doing
- Support customers with personal care and practical tasks in their homes as needs dictate.
- Assist with light domestic duties, preparing meals and snacks, shopping, and companionship as required.
- Administer medication as directed and ensure the customer’s safety and dignity at all times.
- Provide a high standard of person-centered care in line with care plans and company policies.
Salary and benefits
- £13.00 per hour Monday – Friday
- £13.50 per hour Saturday & Sunday
- Mileage – 32p per mile

What is required from you
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

Shift patterns
- Roughly 16 – 24 hours per week
- Morning – 8:45am – 2:45pm + every other weekend (WR4 Area)
- Morning – 9:15am – 2:45pm + every other weekend (WR4 Area)
- Evening – 3pm – 8pm + every other weekend (WR4 Area)
- Evening – 5:30pm – 8pm + every other weekend (WR4 Area)
- Morning – 9:10am – 2:30pm + every other weekend (WR2 Area)
- Evening – 3pm – 8:30pm + every other weekend (WR2 + WR3 Area)
- Full time + Part time – 7am – 1:30pm / 3pm – 9pm + every other weekend

A day in the life of a home care assistant
As a Care Assistant, you will help support our customers in a variety of ways depending on their needs. This could include providing personal care, administering medication, light domestic duties, preparing meals and snacks, shopping and companionship.

You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in care. What’s important is you are passionate and motivated and you want to help in your community.
