What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- This is a bank role so you must be flexible to work nights and weekends as and when required
- Please note this is a zero hour contract
- Must be flexible
- A day in the life of a Care Assistant
- Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care – supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care
- Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
- Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
- Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks
- Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
- Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
