The role of a Care Assistant

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents
  • Assist with medication administration and recording
  • Support residents with daily living activities and routines
  • Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship
  • Help enrich residents\' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement
  • Promote residents\' dignity, independence, and well-being
  • Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care

About you

  • You don\'t need previous care experience. What matters most is your kindness and motivation to help others.
  • Compassionate, patient and great with people
  • Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (we cannot currently offer sponsorship)
  • 42 hours per week, 8am to 8pm on a two-week rolling rota (including alternate weekends) – maternity cover
  • Day payrate £12.85 per hour

The care home is located in Swindon. For reference, the care home is Lansdowne Hill Care Home, Swindon.
