We are looking for an experienced care professional to join our team as a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Agincourt Care Home. The role involves working flexible shifts, providing person‑centred care, and supporting both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing and oral care, while promoting choice and independence.
- Conduct and contribute to care reviews to ensure care plans reflect residents’ needs.
- Administer medication safely and compliantly.
- Lead and participate in social activities, trips, and engagements within the home.
- Support new staff with training and shadowing, and may be called upon to lead the home in the absence of senior managers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or be working towards Level 3.
- Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as required. Day shifts: 8am – 8pm; night shifts: 8pm – 8am.
