Are you ready to make a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for caring and reliable Female Waking Night Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team supporting a young adult with complex needs in their own home. You’ll be providing 1:1 support to help them live safely, happily, and with as much independence as possible, both at home and out in the community.
About the person you’ll be supporting:
- They are a friendly and sociable person who enjoys being around familiar people, sensory activities, going for walks, spending time outdoors, and exploring the local area.
- They thrive on routine and feel safest when supported by people who understand them well.
- Communication is non-verbal, using body language and sounds, so being observant and taking the time to get to know them is essential.
- They are happiest when life is predictable and when their support team work together to keep them safe, comfortable, and engaged.
Where you’ll be working:
- Day shifts - 3pm-10pm
- Waking night shifts - 10pm - 9.30am
- Shift times can be adjusted based on applicant availability.

What your role will include:
- Supporting with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, dressing, and toileting
- Preparing safe, nutritious meals in line with dietary needs
- Support out in the community
- Providing reassurance, structure, and positive engagement throughout the day or night
- Monitoring safety and wellbeing
- Recording daily notes accurately and reporting any concerns promptly
