We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire Service based in Semington Trowbridge. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands-on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
Location: Semington, Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Job Duties:
- Support 3 female clients with learning disabilities and/or autism, ensuring safe, happy, and meaningful lives.
- Encourage independent community participation and active roles.
- Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, routines, meal planning, budgeting, and social activities.
- Communicate effectively using each client's chosen methods.
- Promote and motivate clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Provide positive behavioural support as required.
- Maintain accurate records and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
- Work as part of a team and use personal initiative when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months on a right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driver’s licence.
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care; willingness to progress to Level 3.
- Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism preferred.
