We are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Edgehill Care Home, Swindon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship, support, communication and engagement.
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and oral care.
  • Prompt and, where authorised, administer medication and creams.
  • Support clients with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Perform light domestic cleaning tasks.
  • Support mobility to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
  • Organise and participate in social activities such as trips and social engagements.
  • Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in care (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Availability to work day, evening and weekend shifts, including alternative weekends.
  • Shifts & Working Hours
  • Night Care Assistant – 30 hours per week (including alternative weekend work).
  • Night Care Assistant – 36 hours per week (including alternative weekend work).
  • Bank Care Assistant – flexible days, nights and weekends as required.
