We are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Edgehill Care Home, Swindon.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, support, communication and engagement.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and oral care.
- Prompt and, where authorised, administer medication and creams.
- Support clients with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Perform light domestic cleaning tasks.
- Support mobility to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
- Organise and participate in social activities such as trips and social engagements.
- Key Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Experience in care (preferred but not mandatory).
- Availability to work day, evening and weekend shifts, including alternative weekends.
- Shifts & Working Hours
- Night Care Assistant – 30 hours per week (including alternative weekend work).
- Night Care Assistant – 36 hours per week (including alternative weekend work).
- Bank Care Assistant – flexible days, nights and weekends as required.
