Main duties of the job:

  • Providing companionship, personal care, medication support, meal assistance, and light cleaning tasks to the residents.
  • Supporting clients to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Engaging clients in social activities.

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • 36 hours per week to include alternating weekends
  • Days and nights currently available

A day in the life of a Care Assistant:

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
  • Personal care - Supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - Light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
