We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to provide high-quality support within our supported living service in Sileby, Leicestershire.
About the Role
In this role you will support people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live as independently as possible within their own homes, promoting choice, control, and inclusion.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation and decision-making.
- Guiding and mentoring staff to maintain safe and compliant service provision.
- Encouraging people to play active roles in their communities and pursue independence.
- Supporting activities of daily living, including social activities, personal care, routines, meal preparation, and budgeting.
- Communicating effectively using the individual’s chosen methods.
- Engaging and motivating people to enhance the quality of their life.
- Specialising in providing positive behavioural support where appropriate.
- Recording accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
- Working as part of a team and independently as required.
What is Required From You:
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
- Experience delivering person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
