Responsibilities
- Championing choice, dignity and person‑centred care for every resident.
- Reviewing and adapting care plans in partnership with residents, families, staff and professionals.
- Monitoring and auditing service quality – and acting swiftly on areas of improvement.
- Managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices to keep residents safe.
- Recruiting, inducting, mentoring and developing your team.
- Leading with confidence on HR matters, including performance and conduct.
- Ensuring effective staffing levels and robust contingency planning.
- Investigating safeguarding concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring full regulatory compliance, including duty of candour.
Qualifications
- At least 12 months remaining on your Right to Work in the UK.
- QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- A management qualification (QCF level 4) or willingness to work towards it.
- Previous registration in a residential service (preferable).
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and care home operations.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people‑management skills.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults.
- Full-time availability (42 hours per week).
